Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Teton Software Inc ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your access to and use of the SignatureOS platform, including all associated websites, applications, AI assistants, and services (collectively, the "Services").
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Services. You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to use the Services.
2. Description of Services
SignatureOS is an AI-powered platform that enables users to build websites, manage business operations, and deploy AI assistants for visitor engagement through conversational interfaces. The Services include, but are not limited to: website generation and hosting tools, operational management features, AI chatbot deployment, content generation capabilities, and related technical support.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time, including the availability of any feature, database, or content. We will not be liable if for any reason all or any part of the Services is unavailable at any time or for any period.
3. User Accounts and Responsibilities
Account Creation. To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
Account Security. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account or any other breach of security.
User Content. You retain ownership of any content you submit, upload, or generate through the Services ("User Content"). By providing User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Services.
Prohibited Data. You agree not to submit any sensitive personal information, financial data, or proprietary business information that you are not authorized to share, unless explicitly permitted by the features of the Services.
4. Intellectual Property
Our Property. The Services, including all software, algorithms, AI models, text, graphics, logos, and underlying technology, are owned by Teton Software Inc and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services in accordance with these Terms.
AI-Generated Content. Content generated by our AI systems is provided to you subject to your compliance with these Terms. You retain ownership of AI outputs generated specifically for your account, provided such outputs do not infringe on third-party rights or violate applicable laws. We retain all rights to our underlying AI technology and training methodologies.
Feedback. Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide regarding the Services may be used by us without restriction or compensation to you.
5. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Services to:
- Generate, distribute, or promote illegal, harmful, fraudulent, deceptive, or discriminatory content;
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation;
- Infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others;
- Transmit any viruses, malware, or other malicious code;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, user accounts, or connected systems;
- Use the AI features to generate content that impersonates individuals without consent, creates deceptive deepfakes, or produces hate speech, harassment, or explicit sexual content;
- Scrape, data mine, or otherwise extract data from the Services without authorization;
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Services without express written permission.
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who violates these provisions, including removing offending content, suspending accounts, and reporting violations to law enforcement authorities.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Teton Software Inc and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Services.
AI Disclaimer. You acknowledge that AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or biases. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI outputs. You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating any AI-generated content before publication or operational use.
Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us for the Services during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
7. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Teton Software Inc and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the Services; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any rights of another party.
8. Termination
By You. You may terminate your account at any time by following the instructions in your account settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.
By Us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, all licenses granted to you will immediately terminate.
Effect of Termination. Following termination, we may delete your User Content and account data, except where retention is required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property rights, indemnification, and limitation of liability.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delaware to resolve any legal matter arising from these Terms.
10. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on our website with the "Effective Date" updated accordingly. By continuing to access or use the Services after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Services. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes via email or through the Services interface.
